9️⃣🥵9 sensors on RasPi4🥵9️⃣

An exciting project for our neighbors BiomiTech !

We're running 9 real-time sensors on a Raspberry Pi to Air Quality monitor:
CO₂, CO, NOx, PM2.5, PM10, and light levels.

🔧 Tech details:

👉4 sensors via UART, 4 via I²C, and 1 via SPI
👉Custom-made connector board
👉Dual UART multiplexing (Rx & Tx)
👉I²C multiplexing
👉SPI communication
👉Custom user interface
👉Full 3D design and fabrication of the enclosures

⚡️🥇EMC Pre-qualif : Everything is on track🥇⚡️

Today marked an important milestone for this project.
After multiple back-and-forths with our partner magDesign—including phases of reflection, drawing, assembly, testing, and then re-thinking, re-drawing, and re-assembling, re-testing, ... —this functional prototype was subjected today to a preliminary EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) pre-qualification.

This safety step, upstream of full EMC and electrical safety qualifications, is crucial to ensure that the design, in its current low-cost configuration, meets the required electromagnetic compatibility standards—especially under the demanding test of radiated emissions.

It’s a success for today, and we’re now pleased to move forward to the product industrialization phase.
