Day 2 of the CMSPI Conference: A Day of Enlightenment and Reflection (Click the link below for more photos.)

As the sun cast its golden rays upon the vibrant city of Suva, Day 2 of the CMSPI Conference dawned with a sense of hope, unity, and purpose. The day began with a truly magical moment - a magnificent mass celebrated by his Grace Archbishop Peter Loy Chong.Following this divine commencement, the stage was set for a powerful and deeply moving session on a subject that demands our unwavering attention - human trafficking in Oceania. Three remarkable speakers, Sr. Colleen Jackson, Sr. Maria Avelino, and Fr. Peter O'Neill, took to the podium, their presence commanding respect and attention. Their mission? To raise awareness, ignite a fire within our hearts, and drive us into action against this heinous crime.

With unwavering passion and eloquence, they unveiled the harrowing truths about human trafficking, shedding light on the dark corners where innocent lives are stolen and dreams shattered. Their words painted vivid pictures of courage, resilience, and the urgent need for change in Oceania.
Amongst these luminaries stood Br. Nakaleto, a Seminarian from the Archdiocese of Suva, who is currently pursuing theology at the Pacific Regional Seminary. His testimony of faith, hope, and the call to action led everyone into a profound and deeply introspective reflection. It was a moment of awakening, where hearts were stirred, and souls were ignited to combat the grave injustice of human trafficking.

As we continue our quest to spread awareness and take concrete steps towards ending this modern-day slavery, we invite you to join us in our mission. Below this post is Br. Nakaleto's powerful reflection - a testament to the strength of the human spirit and the resilience of those affected by human trafficking.
In the spirit of unity and purpose, let us come together to make a difference. Share this post, spread the word, and let the world know that we stand against human trafficking. Together, we can create a brighter, safer future for all.
Here are some captivating photos from the second day of the Conference, capturing the essence of our commitment to eradicating human trafficking.
