OXid “Octoxidus” Custom snare drum :
• 13”x7” with 8 swiveled tube lugs
• Seamless deep drawn 1mm aluminum shell
• In shop handmade lugs and hoops
• Trick 3-position strainer
• 6mm thick steam bent oak banner
• 4 vent holes

No paints used: the steel is tempered to color and aluminum smeared with soot. Oak is darkened with vinegar solution and live fire and left raw and unfinished.

To tame the wild beadless shell I hand hammered a strip on upper third and installed a piece of oak under the 12 lugs. The drum is still plenty ”open” sounded.
Main vent hole is behind strainer and one tiny hole in a knot of the oak 🥹
Tempered color, no paint used!

This elegant beauty features thick 3mm triple fl**ge top hoop and single fl**ge bottom hoop for perfect combination of control and openness. Shell is seamless deep drawn steel in 1mm thickness with 8 lugs.

Seamless 14” x 6,5” brass snare drum.

Equipped with both the 3-position trick strainer and 3-position DW butt end.
Custom machined aluminum gaskets under eight lugs and custom tailored Zoran Bibin 18-strand snare wires.
The shell is only 0,9mm thin and with die cast hoops the carefully designed combination delivers a punchy solid ROCK OOMPH to play with 🍗
Latest build of 2025 - had to finish the badge on this side of calendar…
