This morning started with coffee, conversations and a serious spark of inspiration at a breakfast event by , where reminded the room of something important:

Brands are not built from products alone.
They are built from courage, strange ideas, persistence, human connection and the willingness to stay beautifully different.

As the artist behind CarniWear, that hit home. Hard. 🧡

Sometimes wearable art feels like sewing tiny rebellions into fabric.
Against fast fashion. Against sameness. Against becoming smaller just to fit somewhere easier.

Today felt like a reminder to keep going louder, bolder and more unapologetically CarniWear.

More ART to Wear.
More stories stitched into seams.
More strange beauty for brave humans.

And honestly? The world could use a little more color and a little less fear.

Last Saturday still lingers in the air. 🎪

The Cabaret of Unseen Strings stepped onto the Fe**sh & Fashion runway, bringing these marionette stories to life, stitched, worn, and moved between control and surrender.

One found its new owner that same night. The other is still waiting… 🖤

Apparently I’ve been a master for quite some time. Oops.

I graduated some decades ago as a Textile Artenomi (a bachelor-level degree in Textiles & Crafts).
And only this morning — with a little help from a head of education at Raseko — I finally realised that this actually means I’ve been holding a University of Applied Sciences (AMK) degree all along.

In autumn 2023, I completed the Specialist Vocational Qualification in Textile and Fashion…
and have now learned that, based on that qualification, I’m officially a master as well.

So yes.
I might need to redesign my business cards.
And seriously reconsider what kind of title chaos I’m going to put on them?!?!

It's been all so quiet ✨

For a couple of last months my energy has gone to totally different things but my art. That's life and things happen.

Luckily yesterday I finally got inspiration for a new ART to Wear piece "RavenlyScarlet", hopefully I'm able to finish it before 7th December. That's when Uuden muotoilun Joulumarket happens at Logomo 🎄🌟
