Fig Fable

Today, we are thrilled to unveil My Sky — the very first single performed by our current line-up since the summer of 2024.

The track shines with:
- Veikka Kajamies delivering dynamic drum work and a full percussion ensemble, crowned by an electrifying solo
- Ville Vihko weaving expressive piano lines, with a solo that lifts the song into new colors
- Jari Riitala masterfully grounding the sound with fretless bass
- Lubena Nova bringing the lyrics to life with her marvelous vocals

As usual, the music comes from Jari's composition paired with Lubena's lyrics.

And this is only the start: the drums for the full album are already recorded. Stay tuned, because more is on its way soon(ish)!

After our single Lucid Dreaming some new music is on its way. Fig Fable had a great time recording the next seven songs and more is on the way.

Finally, Fig Fable breaks the silence and returns with new music, introducing "Lucid Dreaming”.

This track originates from an earlier recording session, still featuring Karri Kerkelä on drums. Once more, a big thank you to Karri for his time in the band!

Big thanks to Ville Vihko for his unmatched work and magnificent solos!

At the same time, we are thrilled to announce that we already have several songs in progress with our very own drum prodigy, Drummer Veikka Kajamies. Part of the recordings are already completed and results should be expected later this year.

Karri Kerkelä has decided to step down from the drummer's throne of Fig Fable. We sincerely thank Karri for his efforts for the past few years and wish him the very best on his path!

The timing was perfect though since after last weekend's gig we just happen to have another drummer who already knows half of the songs and when asked was willing to join the gang.

So, hereby we officially upgrade the status of Drummer Veikka Kajamies from a one-off substitute to a full-time member of Fig Fable and pass the rhythm sceptre to him. Welcome onboard Veikka!

Thus, the gig pictures conveniently represent the current line-up. 😄
