There’s no better post to write than one where the marketer finally gets to be in the photo! 🎞️

Last week was Eduten’s annual summer party, and it was an amazing chance for all of us to gather in one place and enjoy each other’s company without work.

We did a treasure hunt, took on a few challenges (gamification!), and enjoyed a sauna (we wouldn’t be a Finnish company without one, would we?) with a stunning view over Helsinki. Too bad Avan, Makke and Marta couldn’t join us. We missed you!

This was a wonderful day for all of us at Eduten, and a great way to start June.

Our CEO Henri Muurimaa and Head of National Projects Jussi-Pekka Järvinen have just returned from Accra, Ghana, where they attended eLearning Africa 2026. It's the continent's largest conference on digital education 💡

This year's event brought together education ministers, policymakers, innovators and partners from across Africa and beyond.

For Eduten, these were three days of promising conversations and new connections. The pair also visited Queensland International School, a chance to see local classrooms first-hand.

And yes, the Ghanaian hospitality and food were every bit as good as we'd hoped! Thank you to everyone who made this trip so worthwhile.

In May, we were happy to host over 70 government school teachers from Punjab, India in Turku.

The group was here for a 15-day training programme at Turun yliopisto - University of Turku, exploring Finnish teaching methods, visiting local schools, and seeing how research-driven pedagogy works in practice 🏫

This is already the fourth cohort of Punjabi teachers to train in Finland as part of Punjab's Sikhya Kranti education reform. Together, that brings the total to nearly 300 teachers trained here since 2024.

In Finland, the 2026 school year is over.

For many, tomorrow is the ‘Spring Party’ day. This occasion is where high school graduates host a party with their family and closest friends. People bring gifts and flowers to congratulate the graduate and usually the final report card is on display for all to see 📋

In early May, Eduten’s CEO Henri Muurimaa travelled to Ulaanbaatar to take part in a Local Education Group meeting, where partners and education experts came together to discuss the future of Mongolia's education system 🇲🇳

It was a wonderful opportunity to hear directly from the people shaping Mongolian classrooms, and to reaffirm our long-term commitment to the teachers and students we work with here.
