Meet Simone Licari, Senior Manager of Product Management from Lucca, Italy! 🇮🇹 👋

Simone’s journey with us began back in 2004 after seeing an inspiring Valmet team in action. Today, he leads a dedicated group of Product Managers and Development Engineers creating the future of tissue technologies—many of whom are based in Sweden. Despite the distance, Simone keeps everyone connected through frequent check-ins and teamwork.

His leadership style is clear: enable others to succeed. “My role is to help my team perform at their best – removing obstacles and opening the right doors when needed.” 💙

Established in 1854, Osberg’s machine shop in Sörnäinen, Helsinki, Finland, evolved into Kone ja Silta (Machine and Bridge), with a broad production portfolio ranging from infrastructure to process industry equipment.

This legacy forms part of the foundation of our Järvenpää unit.
