The Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority [EFDA] is committed to enhancing public health by improving access to safe, high-quality, and efficacious medicines. Over the past few years, EFDA has made significant strides in transforming the regulatory landscape to make it more efficient, transparent, and investor-friendly. One of our proudest achievements is attaining Maturity Level 3 (ML3) status from the World Health Organization’s Global Benchmarking Tool. This recognition affirms that EFDA operates as a stable, well-functioning, and integrated regulatory system, aligned with international best practices. We have implemented substantial improvements in timeline management for medicine registration through process optimizations and dedicated resources, ensuring faster reviews without compromising quality.

To support manufacturers in navigating the regulatory landscape, and to streamline the approval process for Health products, we are hosting an exclusive webinar.
