Feeling lost & holpless
Losing trust and feeling helpless...
As youths, who are future leaders,
It hurts, but no one cares as always.

We are born in war zones
Grown up in war zones
Getting old in the same war zones.
Hearing Gunshots nolonger bothers
Anyone, both the children and elderly.
It's hard to bear with, but this shall also
Pass, and we will bounce back stronger.

SOUTHERN SUDANESE!!

are people who have seen hell on Earth
before the judgment day
are people who have seen darker days
at their childhood and ongoing.
people who can be lulled to sleep by gunshots.
entertained by things that should be weighing them
down as they stand firm for their rights.

South Sudanese••
people who have seen the two sides of a coin
when flipped.
people you can never convince that corruption
will be eliminated and equality will be the language
with time.
Jinubin are people who act like there’s no hope in
tomorrow due to the ground factors.

Southern Sudanese•••
are people who put the blames on the leadership
before having the chances to lead until it’s their
tenure and then make it even more worst.
my Jinubini, the most unpredictable and most forgetful people known for raising concerns at hand
for two days and act like nothing happened in the next five days.

Southern Sudanese•••
are people who believe anything made in S.Sudan
isn’t anything good at all.
doubting their own abilities is almost a belief and trusting foreign made materials is something that
runs in their blood.
a real jinubi talks of people of S.Sudan’s aggression
and weakness as if it’s something to be proud of forgetting the village mindset it portraits on the Country.

in a world that believes flowers
can make a woman happy
i chose to give you strength
in form of words to shape the future
reading your mind makes me believe
It’s not the flowers that matters, but the future.

i knew it might feel awkward, but trusting, and putting all the effort into the process is a thousand times worth it than
a flower that varnishes in less than 24hrs.

i knew helping you out needed motivation
and a bit of logic.
But, I guess patience left when I became hard to deal with, all I needed was a break to sort out something that needed me alone.

honestly I have a lot to say
but I love the peace you’re building
happy watching you smile from a distance.

But, ••••• At least wiping your tears in a distance
was not a joke, but something humanity taught me.

I make bad long term decisions to make sure peace prevails with time.
Being neutral and realistic is part of my lifestyle
Read me before the judgment of feeling left stranded.

I don’t mind being the bad guy after being there for people who needed my help, and I don’t judge people’s actions after leaving my side when it’s their turn to be around.

Every little word of encouragement, advice I have ever given out to someone came from the bottom of my heart, and I don’t regret it at all. that’s what I do in life, and I do it without expecting favors in return.

Being honest is my weakness, and if you judge me for that, you will forever judge me…I’m not sure if there will be a time honesty will let go off me.

I understand the world in my own way. I believe that turning a blind eye on someone who was once there on your bad and good days for one bad move made is being selfish because I don’t erase the good things ever done to me, and I appreciate them even at my worst.
