Acsethiopia Addis Ababa

The Archeparchy of Addis Ababa was established by the Apostolic Constitution “Quod Venerabilis” on February 20th, 1961.

The Catholic Archeparcy of Addis Ababa was established by the Apostolic Constitution “Quod Venerabilis” on February 20th, 1961 in place of the Apostolic Exarchate which had been erected on October 31st, 1951. The Archeparchial Catholic Secretariat (ACS) as a Socio-Pastoral and Development Coordination Office of the Archeparchy of Addis Ababa was established in April 1992.
