"The steale field of 'TIYA' " Tiya is among z most important of z roughly 160 archeological sites discovered so far in the soddo region(silte) ,south of addis. The site contains 36 monuments including 32 carved steale covered with symbols , most of which are difficult to decipher . They are the remains of ancient Ethiopian culture whose age has not yet been precisely determined . Z steale from the soddo region , with their enigmatic configuration , are highly representative of an expression of the Ethiopian megalithic period . "TIYA" is registerd by "UNESCO" as a world heritage site in 1980.

"WAKA" The konso erect impressionistic wooden waka Grave markers at the burial place of an important man or particularly brave warrior.

The mursi tribe are African tribe from the isolated Omo valley in southern Ethiopia. A woman is lip plated on the lower lip when she reaches the age of 15 or 16 . the lip plated is seen as an expression of social adulthood and reproductive potential.
