🚀 The first in person session of the SEED Acceleration Program at Orbit Innovation Hub has been successfully completed.

Over the past four days, participating startups joined intensive and highly interactive sessions covering Business Operations and Strategy, Digital Marketing, Business Finance, and Sales and Marketing.

These sessions created a dynamic learning environment where founders reflected on their business models, strengthened their systems, and developed practical strategies to grow their startups.

The energy and engagement from the founders made the experience truly impactful. 🌱

With the in person phase now completed, the acceleration journey continues over the next three months with mentorship, advisory support, and ex*****on focused activities.

Happening Now in Bishoftu 🚀

Under the SEED Program, Orbit Innovation Hub in collaboration with the Biiroo Carraa Hojii Uumuufi Ogummaa Oromiyaa is delivering a fully practical Digital Market Linkage capacity-building session at Bishoftu TVET.

Today is not about presentations — it’s about practice. MSMEs are actively working on real business cases, learning how to:

✔️ Expand their market reach beyond local boundaries
✔️ Build and strengthen a strong digital presence
✔️ Professionally showcase their products and services using the SEED Connect Telegram mini app

This hands-on session is transforming digital marketing concepts into real-time ex*****on. MSMEs are not only learning strategies — they are applying them immediately to increase visibility, attract customers, and unlock new market opportunities.

Digital transformation is no longer optional. It’s the pathway to growth, competitiveness, and sustainable impact for MSMEs in Oromia.

The SEED OIH Acceleration Program has officially begun — launching a four-month transformation journey for selected startups under our structured 3P+R pathway.

Over the next 12 weeks, founders will:
• Work closely with dedicated Growth Advisors
• Participate in expert-led business sessions
• Engage in hands-on industry workshops
• Complete weekly ex*****on workbooks
• Prepare for investor readiness

Today’s program opened with powerful remarks from our Program Lead, Dawit Teshome, setting the tone and expectations for the journey ahead. Ahmed Jafar followed with a deep dive into the acceleration framework and ex*****on tools.

The Oromia Job Creation and Vocational Bureau Biiroo Carraa Hojii Uumuufi Ogummaa Oromiyaa, in partnership with Orbit Innovation Hub, is currently conducting a "Training of Trainers" (ToT) program in Adama. The initiative aims to enhance the digital market capabilities of local enterprises.

As highlighted by Engineer Ebba Garba, Head of BCHUOO, the government is committed to the "Digital Ethiopia" vision—building a digital economy, creating sustainable jobs, and modernizing service delivery.

📍 The Goal: In the first phase, 1,000 enterprises across five cities (Adama, Mojo, Bishoftu, Jimma, and Shashamanne) will be empowered to thrive in the digital marketplace.
