The review focused on the joint plan, developed and implemented by the RHB and its partners, to reduce malaria cases by 50%. The discussion covered successes, challenges, and the path forward. Representatives from the Ministry of Health and other key stakeholders involved in the emergency response attended the meeting. DHA, funded by the President's Malaria Initiative (PMI) and USAID, has been serving as the lead partner in supporting the malaria response in the Afar region and East Shoa Zone of Oromia region, also known as Cluster Eight, following MOH's cluster-based malaria emergency response strategy.
