Mario Testino described this photo shoot with Jennifer Lopez to “The New York Times.”
“This time I wanted to show her like a society lady, being very proper in a Los Angeles mansion. She is quite a strong girl. You can imagine she can walk anywhere without feeling she needs someone watching over her. These are strong dogs. They bark a lot, but they are all trained. There’s another picture in the exhibition of Tom Brady with one of these dogs.”

“We repeat ourselves as photographers. I have a real attraction to dogs, cars, and children, but I don’t have dogs or children, and I pay little attention to cars in real life. It is a contradiction. Maybe in therapy this could come in handy, for they are always in my pictures for some reason.”
