On a day of world records and historical achievements many more young and exciting athletes were making their mark around the world.
In Japan, Patrick Mosin won the Gifu Half Marathon with training mate Geofry Kipchumba taking 3rd place. In the women’s race Winnie Kimutai took a strong 4th place with Gladys Chepkurui in 6th.
In India, the young man from 🇺🇬, Harbert Kibet, the current world leader in the 10k took 2nd place in only his second ever 10k!

In her first Olympic distance WTCS race since October 2024 returned to action in Samarkand yesterday. GTB went solo on the bike arriving into T2 with almost 40 seconds on the chasers, running strong all the way to the line for a well earned 4th place.
continues to impress, showing versatility over both the short and long course races taking 11th place in Uzbekistan.
