🇬🇧 Would you like to enter a mine and see and touch a giant geode? and to be more exact, the largest geode in the world. We will walk through the corridors of an old iron, lead and silver mine, until we go down to the third and fourth levels where we will see a cavity where the largest Geode in the world is located. It is 8 meters long by 2 meters wide. Its plaster crystals, its funnel shape and the immensity of its set will not leave you indifferent.

Andaremos entre corredores de una antigua mina de hierro, plomo y plata, hasta bajar a los niveles tercero y cuarto donde veremos una cavidad donde se encuentra La Geoda más grande del mundo. Cuenta con 8 metros de largo por 2 metros de ancho.

🇬🇧 When looking at Torrevieja from above, it looks as though a colossal strawberry milkshake melted and the gooey mess pooled just outside the city. But the odd sight isn’t caused by a slew of unnatural ingredients. It’s actually the work of bacteria and algae.
Halobacterium (also known as “salt bacterium”) thrive in salty places, as does a micro-algae called Dunaliella salina. These are the two magic ingredients that concoct the lake’s bizarre hue. Despite its funky color, the water is perfectly fine, though it can get a bit smelly.

🇪🇸 Al mirar a Torrevieja desde arriba, parece como si un batido de fresa se derritiera y se acumulara en las afueras de la ciudad. Pero estre extraño suceso, no es causado por mezclar ingredientes artificiales. En realidad es el trabajo de bacterias y algas.

Halobacterium (también conocida como "bacteria de la sal") prospera en lugares salados, al igual que una microalga llamada Dunaliella salina. Estos son los dos ingredientes mágicos que creanel extraño tono del lago. A pesar de su raro color, el agua está perfectamente bien, aunque puede oler un poco raro algunas veces.
