Another transformation completed on this stunning Fairline Phantom based in San Pedro del Pinatar 🇪🇸

This project involved a full detail clean followed by a machine polish to restore the dull, oxidised gelcoat back to a deep, mirror-like gloss finish. The difference in clarity and reflection truly brings the boat back to life and enhances its overall presentation especially important for a potential sale.

We also carried out a full teak treatment using Semco, restoring the natural colour and providing long lasting protection without leaving a slippery surface.

Final preparations complete on this stunning CNB 62, now ready to set sail for the GS Cup in Italy 🇮🇹⛵️

This marks the second 60ft+ sailing yacht ShipShape has prepared in June alone for the competition a busy period getting these boats looking their absolute best before they hit the water.

On this CNB, we carried out a full polish and protection on the large lazarette and stern area, bringing back depth and shine where it matters most. Alongside that, a full teak treatment was completed using Semco across the swim platform and all teak surfaces, restoring colour and providing lasting protection.

Now she’s heading to Italy looking exactly how she should clean, protected, and competition ready.

Here at ShipShape we have brought a heavily oxidised white hull back to life 🛥️

This Odyssey came with severe oxidation, dullness and zero gloss left in the gelcoat. After a full multi stage cut and polish process, we’ve restored depth, clarity and a proper high gloss finish.

Using the full Rupes Marine system, we were able to safely remove oxidation, refine the surface and lock in that deep shine for long lasting protection.

From chalky and faded to a mirror like finish.

Full restoration work carried out on a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey, with a large part of the job focused below the waterline.

The keel required extensive repairs after suffering from electrolysis, so it was taken right back to bare metal before being rebuilt properly using the correct system to restore protection and integrity.

We also carried out a small repair to the rudder to ensure everything is structurally sound and ready for the water.

The keel is now fully prepped and protected, ready for the electricians to complete the final fix and eliminate the root cause of the issue.

⚓️ Astondoa 39 Flybridge – Full Detail Polish & Protection

This Astondoa 39 has just returned from the shipyard following routine maintenance and was ready for a complete refresh.

Here at ShipShape we carried out the following:
• Full exterior deep clean
• Stainless steel polished to a high shine
• Machine polish using the Rupes Marine range
• Gelcoat protection applied for long-lasting gloss and protection

The result: A deep, high gloss finish across the superstructure, with all stainless brought back to a sharp, clean shine.

⚓️ Teak Repair & Restoration

Teak deck restoration carried out in Mar de Cristal, bringing this deck back to life and extending its service life.

All seams were carefully cleaned out, recut, and sanded straight to ensure a uniform finish. The deck was then professionally re-seamed using Sikaflex 290DC Pro, applied with the correct preparation and products to guarantee durability, flexibility, and a high-quality finish.

The result is a sharp, clean look with long lasting protection against the elements exactly what a teak deck needs to stay both functional and visually spot-on.
