while the color beneath begins to shift.
A quiet balance between stillness and change.

My paintings do not seek answers, but rather spaces for contemplation and awareness.

Gilding was not only used to enhance the visual beauty of works of art, but was also imbued with deep symbolism. In the religious context, gold represented divine light and the presence of the sacred, giving representations of gods and Buddhas a transcendental and timeless quality. And currently boys and girls are the most sacred beings and with their pure thoughts they give divine light to our world. But don’t be fooled, we adults are for rent, they, like titans, watch us and monitor how we treat their land.
