A very fun pre-wedding for a group coming from Germany in Seville. We opened the weekend with a super pool party. The couple wanted something different from any pre-wedding they had attended before.

The bride defined the chromatic direction from the start: vibrant oranges and pinks, applied to floral arrangements and repeated across the set-up. A joyful, warm palette.

The space supported the concept: a spring garden, scaled just right for the number of guests, with easy circulation between the bar, BBQ area and game zones.

What most couples don’t realize is that weddings don’t fail because of the budget, the weather, or the venue. They fail because there is no clear decision-maker.

When everyone has a say — parents, friends, siblings, group chats — decisions slow down, priorities blur, and stress takes over.

That doesn’t mean being inflexible or excluding loved ones.
It means agreeing — early on — who has the final word when decisions need to be made.

And who should that be?

Ideally, the couple.
Not the families nor the loudest voice in the room.

In every successful wedding, there is usually one person within the couple who leads. Not because they’re controlling per se—but because they’re clearer, calmer, or more decisive.

The decision-maker should be:

-The one who doesn’t need external validation
-The one who can say “this works” and move on
