Been reflecting a lot on the inspiration behind this one. The past few years have been pretty unpredictable, and I think some of that ended up here. Memories fade and some stay. I think this one is somewhere in between

My latest work. I’m trying to stop caring about what creativity is supposed to look like and just focus on making something. I paint because it helps me clear my head and process things. I had no idea where this one was going when I started, so I just kept going. This is what came out. Tangled

I’ve had this whole thing written, but I’ll just keep it short.
Introducing my first series First Movement. For a long time I thought I lost my creativity, especially after two pregnancies back to back (and one small identity crisis)
I stopped feeling inspired and thought that version of me was gone, but painting found me at a time where I wasn’t looking for a new project, a new career or a new identity, I just felt a strong need to make something, so what started as a way to clear my head became something much bigger. This series, First Movement is the result of following that feeling without really knowing where it would lead.
