Previously MeBeIMAGERY, which was a play on my maiden name (Megan E. Brown) that I had used professionally since 1997, I rebranded my business upon changing my name after marriage and the birth of our adorable son, Rafael in 2014. The new name reflects several ideas that are the essence of my new life: Me (Megan) Ra (Rafael) Mar (new family name), as well as incorporating the French and Spanish words for sea (Mer/Mar), reflecting my passion for international travel and lifelong love of the ocean. You can also hear the French word for mother, mere, as motherhood has inspired an even greater love of life and art, and the beauty in the smallest of moments.
