Mario Patterns

I disappeared into the Catalan mountains for a few days ⛰️

There were tiny villages, Romanesque churches, unhealthy amounts of frapuccinos and maaaany many patterns spotted along the way.

I really needed these little holidays after a year of hard work, and I can say I came back recharged and ready for a lot of exciting projects. Stay tuned! 😌

Here's my new tangle CRIPTEX! 🔮 This is a mini tutorial where you'll learn how to draw its basic form in just 6 simple steps.

I also included a tile where I transformed it from a border Zentangle pattern into a radial one. They don't look like the same design, right?

Wanna know what makes border Zentangle patterns special? 👀

Instead of spreading in all directions, border tangles follow a single line. They're perfect to create frames, separating sections or adding decorations.

Here's 4 easy tutorials to explore this special kind of tangle:

This tangle starts with a simple grid, but it quickly gets dramatic and eye-catching 👀

UNOU is my newest original tangle, and it uses the black fills to create a lot of contrast. This carousel will show you how to draw the basic version in just 6 steps. Then swipe to the end to see how I created a complete Zentangle tile using some variations!

Here's what my life has looked like recently 👀

I finally treated myself to a new pair of rollerskates (and I should've done it sooner), filled tiles with new Zentangle patterns, drew outdoors and even cooked some meals that turned out surprisingly well.
