Let’s talk about: Oil 🥑
❌Refined oil = NO NO ❌
🤯That means avoiding vegetable oils like ➡️ soybean, safflower, corn, canola and sunflower oil 🤯
🫒 soooo, it’s time to CHANGE YOUR OIL🫒
We suggest incorporating omega 3 fatty acids into your diet aka buying:
1️⃣ Coconut oil
2️⃣ Olive oil
3️⃣Avocado oil
4️⃣Ghee
5️⃣ Nut oil
6️⃣ Fatty fish oil
💁🏽♀️Quick reminder: Don’t be afraid to cook with oils just make sure you know which one is best to cook with.

👩🏽🍳Here’s an easy recipe you can do with this months seasonal food favorite:
Cauliflower!
🕺🏻Benefits of cauliflower🕺🏻
• High in fiber
• Good source of antioxidants
• May help weight loss (low in calories)
• Source of choline (involved in brain development and production of neurotransmitters, prevents cholesterol from accumulating in the liver, among others)

Eat more plants 🌱 do it for you and the environment💚
Breakfast/Lunch idea 💡—> tofu scrambled with whole-wheat bread and homemade pickled onions (go check our recipe on previous posts😉)
Ingredients:
- tofu
- frozen peas
- frozen onions and peppers
-cherry tomatoes
- turmeric & pepper
- soya sauce
- agave
- tahini
Method: cook all the vegetables in a pan with the spices and the sauces, add the tofu by smashing it with the hands. Let it stir for 5-8 minutes. Serve as you desire😊 (pro tip: add avocado and tahini on top 👌🏽)

Easy 4 ingredient homemade NAAN recipe thanks to our lovely friend .ft.balance
• NAAN RECIPE •
1️⃣ 2 cups of flour (whole wheat or white)
2️⃣ 1 1/4 cups of greek yogurt or soy yogurt
3️⃣ 2 teaspoons of baking powder
4️⃣ 1/4 teaspoon of salt
🔸Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and form a uniformed ball with your hands ( add more flour if it has a sticky form)
🔸Separate it into 6 equal size parts & on a smooth surface add more flour & flatten the mixture (pretend your making homemade pizza👨🏼🍳)
🔸Add some olive oil onto a pan & cook each side of the naan bread until it turns a slight golden/brown (like the picture above ☝🏽)

1️⃣Get friendly with your freezer! Remember that you can always freeze anything and use it later!
2️⃣Consumers often misunderstand “sell by” & “use by” dates: to break it down “sell by” is to guide the retailer (NOT the consumer) & “use by” date is for us (the consumer).
“Best before” date = we use our common sense…if its smells okay & looks okay, it’s probably fine to eat.
