For this last “Dimanche remixes” Sunday, we present you aka Sasa Crnobrnja & Alex Gloor 💜

We actually don’t know them. The story behind this remix is a little crazy and probably worth telling.

Although we knew of this incredible, extremely creative, edgy duo for a long time - having played their amazing edits non-stop - we never crossed paths. Then, one day, we randomly heard this afro-disco-kinda-funk super sunny remix of our track Dimanche and we were absolutely blown away to learn that In Flagranti did it! 🤯

In fact, back when we released the original digital version of our Dimanche EP, our label asked them for a remix, but for some reason it didn’t get included in the release. So 11 years later, here it is, exclusively on vinyl, for your own listening - and dancing - pleasure.

Back to Sasa & Alex. They started DJing in NYC in the early 80s and met through their shared love for italian cosmic music - So, even if it wasn’t intentional, all of Dimanche remixers are important figures of the NYC club scene. Sasa & Alex founded Codek records in the 90s and have since released a ton of amazing electro-disco-afro-rock-funk-dub delicacies. If you’re not familiar with their music you should definitely check this madness for your ears and ❤️ !

In Flagranti has always been a solid reference for us in terms of quality rare gems that simply bang and we are so grateful that they graced us with a remix of our baby Dimanche that we can now share with you on this vinyl 🙌

This Sunday dedication for our Dimanche 11th anniversary vinyl goes to… Justin Strauss, the New York underground club scene forever official representative, legendary DJ, singer and iconic producer 🙌

He’s been DJing since the 80s but the first time we heard him play was in Paris, just before lockdown - so quite late actually. We already knew of him since his name often appeared as a remixer or producer in the credits of records we listened to (808 State, Sergio Mendes, Kassav, Depeche Mode, Jungle Wonz, LCD Soundsystem, Holy Ghost!…) and he was great friends with several of our artist friends. Much later, we also discovered his cult band MILK'N'COOKIES, of which he was the lead singer - we highly recommend it.

What struck us the most with Justin’s work is the quality of his compositions and his sound. There is something super natural and timeless about it. Every track glides along, whether it's rock, acid house, R&B, or indie pop. Maybe because of all these years as resident DJ for Paradise Garage or Muddy Club 💡

When we made the compilation "For Beirut" after the double explosion, he immediately said yes with his band Whatever/Whatever. So we knew there was something truly special about him.

Last year, when we were thinking about artists to do a fresh remix of “Dimanche” for this 11st Anniversary edition, his name came up naturally. kindly did the intro and Justin accepted with heartwarming enthusiasm. He did a fantastic job and teamed up with from the band for the mixing part. Fun fact: We’re mega-fans of Midnight Magic, we met Andrew and years ago when Sylvain booked them at his La French party in Paris.

But the crazy thing is that during all this time, and despite all the friends we have in common and our musical tastes, we actually never met Justin. So now we finally meet, on a record! (and we also met in real life 3 days ago in Paris and we can tell you that he does live up to his kindness reputation ❤️)

So thank you, Dear Mr. Justin Strauss, for gracing us with this absolutely amazing New York inspired club mix, that makes "my skin sweat and sends shivers down my spine” 💋💋

For our Dimanche 11th anniversary vinyl we simply surrounded ourselves with living legends.

First up is undisputed figure of the NYC club scene and exceptional DJ, producer and benefactor of the underground culture.

We love Mike. We met him back in 2012 through (merci Vincent!) and Sylvain booked him at his “La French” party in Paris (slide 3). A couple years later, when we released Dimanche, Mike blessed us with two remixes of the track and became our very first, historic remixer. For the anniversary vinyl, we picked the acid version (slide 7).

Mike is a great artist and a great man. His passion for the culture is matched only by his integrity and his impeccable career. He's created legendary labels, discovered and produced outrageously talented artists. If you're not familiar with his stunning project , we highly recommend it.

In 2016, Mike asked us if we had some vocals lying around. A few months later, we released together the acid house bangers (sorry, not sorry) Release and Slave on (slide 2). Since then, we shared some fun times behind the desks - from underground warehouse parties in NYC (slides 5 & 6) to the Cannes Film Festival (slide 1) - we recorded a Victor Hugo poem for his amazing Solipsism LP and, a couple months ago, we released together two new bangers on label .

We're very lucky to make music with Mike and to count him among our friends. So thank you, dear Mike, and Happy Birthday to our triad!

“Dimanche” c’est notre 1er EP, toute 1ère sortie, et 1ère fois que nous avons partagé notre musique au Monde.

11 ans et 4 M d’écoutes plus t**d, on le sort pour la première fois en vinyle avec et

“Dimanche” était une démo qu’on ne cherchait pas forcément à sortir, perfectionnistes que nous sommes, il y avait toujours des choses à améliorer. Ce sont nos amis, particulièrement Ren 🙏 qui nous ont convaincus et poussés à le sortir. Et ce sont les copains .romain et Gennaro de qui ont rendu le reste possible. CLAAP! était né. Le clip a rapidement suivi avec les merveilleuses ombres chinoises sexy de et 👑

Aujourd’hui pour son 11eme anniversaire, on sort une édition limitée à 300 vinyles numérotés à la main, avec 3 remixes (dont 2 inédits) par les légendes 🙌 et 🙌

Le très talentueux 🙌 nous a fait l’honneur d’un sublime artwork 🙏 et a pris la pose pour la photo de couverture.

Et puis il y a vous et tout l’Amour que vous avez donné à cette chanson, et qui lui permet aujourd’hui encore d’être célébrée!
