5 things you might not know about me 🙂

1. Despite being right at home singing in front of hundreds of people, I’m an introvert at heart. I was so shy growing up that I refused singing lessons until I was 11.

2. In high school I was in an all singing, all dancing girl group with 4 of my best friends. We once opened for Girls Aloud 😆

3. I drove from Chicago to Denver (and back again!) in my second hand Chevy Aveo called Charlie. It was the most unreliable car and it was a miracle it survived the journey!

4. My eldest daughter has a form of cerebral palsy that affects her physically on her left side. We do daily physio and stretches and a few years ago I seriously considered a career change to become a pediatric physiotherapist 👩🏽‍⚕️

5. I once fell on an escalator in Chicago and injured my toe. The train station manager called an ambulance but I was worried about the cost (hello American healthcare!) so I called my roommate to ask for a lift to the hospital. She came right away, bringing with her the guy she was on a first date with when I called 🙈

So grateful for such an amazing first half of 2026! 🥹✨ To anyone who’s bought a ticket to a gig, shared with their friends, commented or liked posts, streamed and downloaded my music- T H A N K Y O U 🫶🏻

I’m fortunate to have gigs scheduled (by Chris Rogan 🙌🏼) around my two gorgeous girls, so it’s time for some summer fun with them (with some writing and planning for 2027 in there, too!) before autumn/winter dates begin.

See you somewhere along the road soon, L xx
