I’ve been gone AF... and a lot has happened since I was here with you, posting regularly last spring.

📍 Moved home from Europe in April of 24

💫 Got pregnant in May

✈️ Went to Vegas for our 14th anniversary and LA for Joeaux's wedding

💔 Lost the baby in July

💓 Spent time healing with friends and family

✈️ Trip to California for friends and a work conference with Joeaux

🏡 Bought our first home in September after being together almost half my life!!!

✈️ Work trip to Colorado in October

📚 Started homeschooling Romulus in October

🐈🐈‍⬛️ Rescued Miles and Kaiko (our sweet kitty babies)

⚠️ Realized I was dealing with a severe health problem, I didn’t have answers for around November

💻 Poured myself into my work at Soulopreneur and fixing up our beautiful home before our housewarming + 15 year anniversary party

✨ Accepted an exciting promotion to President of Soulopreneur Productions

🩺 Learned the solution to my health problem would be a full hysterectomy

🎉 Threw the most amazing housewarming + 15th Anniversary party surrounded by loved ones from near and far at the end of May

💤 Took time to rest before surgery

💖 Had the hysterectomy in July... and have been feeling more like myself every single day since

💐 Hosted a womb reclamation ceremony (more on that later) with the women in my family

📸 Reinstalled Facebook on my phone and started hanging out with you all here again in August

Through all of this... I went inward. I did the work to heal. To align. To surrender to flow.

My mantras through it all have been:
- Life is happening for me, not to me ✨️
- I’m the luckiest girl in the world 🌎
- I’m her. 👏

I’m still Kayla... just the aligned, rooted, more “me” version.

I’m ready to start creating, sharing, and connecting again ~ from this new place of flow instead of force.

We've been in our home for a week, and I still can't believe this is my life. I'm so thankful and humbled that after 16 years and over 30 moves with Robert, we get to set down roots with the child we were told we'd never have. I'm so so thankful.

Soon, I'll record a vlog bridging the huge gap in my content from living in England to deciding to purchase our first home in the US.
