Our Story
We are a passionate multidisciplinary team that envision a better world through education, innovation, and conservation. After losing most of our honey bee hives during the winter of 2016, we clearly experienced the serious problematic that honey bees are facing, it also raised questions such as “what’s happening with bees that we don’t manage?” “How are wild bee communities changing throughout agricultural landscapes?” and “ What landscape features might have positive effects on wild bee populations?” to answer these questions we engaged in a research project that lasted a couple of years in collaboration with Concordia University and Agronova in Montreal, Canada. Now, we understand a lot more of what’s happening and we want to help. So, we developed an education tool based on bees and other bio-systems, that enhances the learning/teaching experience, that can help make a positive difference in conservation efforts of bees and biodiversity in general.
