Rudolf Clausius - Thermodynamics (Malevich Line - Entropy)
In 1865, Clausius first gave a mathematical version of the concept of entropy defined as the proportion of energy in a system that is not capable of performing work, and showed that the entropy of a system increases in an irreversible process.

Jenny Holzer - Protect Me From What I Want (Malevich Line - Protect You)
Jenny Holzer is an American conceptual artist best known for her text-based works, which are constructed from "truisms" such as "abuse of power comes as no surprise"and "protect me from what I want." By experimenting with the use of words visually displayed in public spaces, Holzer is able to stimulate public discussions about violence, sexuality, oppression, human rights, feminism, power, war, and death. Starting with street posters, Holzer's practice has come to incorporate LED screens that run with stock-ticker-like texts, painted signs, plaques, photographs, sound, video, and the Internet.

Susan Sontag - Regarding The Pain Of Others (Malevich Line - The Pain of Others)
A lucid essay on the documentary and iconographic representation of pain. Twenty-five years after On Photography, Susan Sontag returned to the study of the visual representation of war and violence. How does the spectacle of other people's suffering affect us? Have we become accustomed to cruelty?

In particular, the project focuses on the reiteration of affirmative and negative phrases that contain some changes concerning motifs and meaning.

Inflamatory Essays - Jenny Holzer (Malevich Line - I Want To Make Art).
Convinced that art resides in the concepts it sets out to communicate and not the form of the artistic object, Jenny Holzer has turned language into her creative material. Her first incursions into this field were her famous Truisms. Under this name, in 1977 Holzer began to hang posters in the streets of SoHo and other parts of Manhattan with incisive messages on social contradictions, sexuality, violence and the abusive logic of power. Arranged in alphabetic order and in black capital letters on a white background, she uses them ‘to keep people awake’ , as the artist explains in an interview.

Rapture - Shirin Neshat (Malevich Line - Human Tide)
Rapture is an installation of two synchronized black-and-white video sequences that are projected on opposite walls; large in scale, they evoke cinema screens. Working with hours of footage and a team of editors, the artist constructed two parallel narratives: on one side of the room, men populate an architectural environment; in the other sequence, women move within a natural one.

Composition VIII by Wassily Kandisky (Malevich Line - Follow) The painting consists of a variety of geometric shapes, colours, straight and curved lines set against a background of cream that melds at certain points into areas of pale blue. The use of circles, grids, rectangles, semicircles, triangles and other mathematical forms in the artwork is consistent with the painter's belief in the mystical properties of geometric shapes while the colours on display are chosen for their emotional impact.
