Connectant la sostenibilitat i la innovació a l’Innovation Sprint de StartUB! 🌱

StartUB! va col·laborar en el Blended Intensive Program impulsat pel Màster DIA, mitjançant l’organització d’un Innovation Sprint al Campus Torribera, on els estudiants del BIP van treballar reptes reals de sostenibilitat amb dues missions:

- Reimaginar com valoritzar els subproductes del peix als mercats locals
- Crear solucions per donar una segona vida a fruites i verdures no venudes

Del repte a la solució accionable en una sola sessió. 💡

També vam obrir les portes per acollir la taula rodona final presencial, on emprenedors del sector alimentari van compartir els seus trajectes i aprenentatges. Un tancament potent per a un programa inspirador.


Connecting sustainability and innovation at StartUB!’s Innovation Sprint 🌱

StartUB! collaborated in the Blended Intensive Program led by Master DIA, organising an Innovation Sprint at Campus Torribera, where BIP students tackled real sustainability challenges with two missions:

- Reimagine how to valorise fish by-products in local markets
- Create second-life solutions for unsold fruits and vegetables

From challenge to actionable solution in one session. 💡

We also opened our doors to host the closing in-person round table, where food system entrepreneurs shared their journeys and insights. A powerful ending to an inspiring program.

En conseqüència, les activitats de StartUB! quedaran suspeses i els espais StartUB! Lab – Aleu Residence i StartUB! Torribera romandran tancats durant el dia.

Així mateix, l’iDAY programat per demà, 6 de novembre, queda ajornat.
Anunciarem la nova data tan aviat com sigui possible.

Today we celebrated the closing of UPBEAT, the EIT Digital Summer School hosted by StartUB! and Universitat de Barcelona.

Over the past two weeks, 7 international teams explored the intersection of digital innovation and wellbeing, developing impactful projects and presenting their final pitches today.

A heartfelt thank you to all the professors, professionals, mentors, and of course, the incredible students who made this experience so inspiring.

You brought energy, ideas, and purpose to every session, and we’re proud of the community we’ve built together in Barcelona.
