A series exploring Astet Studio’s work around the world through place, context, and narrative. Each chapter traces the relationship between our projects and the cities that shape them.
Today we visit Frankfurt, a city defined by contrast. A place where efficiency meets warmth, and structure is balanced by character. Beneath its modern skyline lies a city with a strong sense of rhythm and everyday life, reminding us that the most memorable places are often shaped as much by people as by architecture.

Louis Vuitton Le Café is set within one of Beijing’s most recognisable retail landmarks.
Curved seating compositions, layered textiles and integrated greenery introduce subtle references to Chinese symbolism, shaping the cultural atmosphere of the interior.
The terrace opens the café towards the city, connecting the space with the vibrant energy of Sanlitun.
