Back in September 2019 we were fortunate to have the incredible opportunity to meet and interview seven female professional golfers during the Mediterranean Ladies Open in Terramar (Sitges, Spain). On this occasion, we spent some time following those amazing athletes both on and of the course.
Though we admire and respect the sport as such, we were mostly curious to understand what it is, for these athletes, to live out their passion. Our original idea, based on previous observation, consisted of wanting to understand what it was like to lead a life on the tour, as women. What sacrifices it takes to get there and to remain at the top level of European Golf, dealing with the different commitments involved.
Because behind the glitter of media exposure and social media, their daily life is quite harsh. More so than we could imagine. Struggling to obtain sponsoring, making the 'cut', being away from their loved ones, sticking to a tight budget, and so on. What we discovered are resilient women fighting for their passion, with resounding elegance and a fighting spirit. These are stories that need to be shared.

La deforestación sigue en Salta en territorios de comunidades originarias de la zona de Tartagal. Hay cautelares, hay fallos judiciales que no se cumplen. La policía no responden a las denuncias ni llamados de las comunidades que intentan proteger estos territorios.
Les damos todo el apoyo a las familias y a que intentan frenar la destrucción de sus territorios y riqueza natural.
