We had a great day yesterday even though it poured it down with rain, we went to collect some very much needed greenhouse glass from a lovely couple...We were blown away...the property was surrounded by beautiful gardens free roaming ducks, geese and the most beautiful array of special breed bantams. The owners were absolutely lovely and amazingly driven. We had a guided tour of their pens and even met their stunning horses and donkeys (all resuces)...we loved every second and we were given a basket of their rare breed bantam eggs so home we came...made some room in the incubator...so fingers crossed we now have cream lebar blue egg layers, pekin, Sablepot and Dutch bantam eggs...so eggcited 🥰🤣 Their stunning gardens will ne open to the public in June. As soon as I have the details you must all go and visit...

It's been touch and go yesterday with new born twin Catrin, she is the weaker of the two kids and was struggling to get to milk, and was growing weak, despite our continual efforts to keep her suckling. Catrine was being to get cold and shiver, so we brought her home and managed to feed her a bottle of colostrum, we kept her warm and within a couple of hours she was warm and standing. We took her back to mum and she lactched on straight away and had a great feed. We checked her every hour through the night and twice got mum up and she again had a great feed. Fingers crossed 🤞

We finally had the surprise birth of twin Anglo Nubian goats...mum's first birth so she has been amazing but not feeding. We are giving a helping hand with a bottle. Two hour shifts...we so love our animals ❤️
