Millstone Pottery

A visit today for one potter to see another potter. I was so honored to be able to meet this potter who is a 4th generation potter from Agost, Spain. This area in the Eastern coastal part of Spain is known for its plentiful natural resources of clay and therefore has a rich history in pottery. This potter, Emilie Boix, was incredibly kind to invite us into his studio where he was working on the wheel making his famous signature designs- pots and sculptures. And he is the kindest and most warm hearted man. He spoke to me about how he does his pottery from his heart and not as a “job” so much. I couldve stayed there in his studio watching him work for hours!

We will be out at the Powhatan Farmers Market this Thursday afternoon. “Proudly Powhatan Produced”Pottery!!

New year 2024🔶 I would like to take a minute here to thank everyone that supported me in this pottery adventure last year. There were a few great shows last year and some orders for shops and wholesale. Overall it was a super year. Looking forward to 2024! #2023
