Play is a child's language: how they cultivate social skills, critical thinking, emotion regulation, fine and gross motor abilities, grit and SO MUCH MORE! Parents, this also falls on us to move away from over-scheduling our kids, reducing screen time, and allowing for children to play freely & experience boredom ! Schools are only one of several reasons we have a play crisis on our hands but a good place to start; ✅ Longer and more frequent recesses ✅ Play-based learning ✅ Less homework (the research does not support homwork in elementary/primary school unless it's reading to your child or your child reading) ✅ Lessons moved outdoors wherever possible ✅ Support of alternative schools such as Waldorf, homeschooling, Montessori, and forest schools ✅ Explorartory learning instead of "teaching to the test" . . . 👇 Want more important content like this?! How to use AT, IN and ON
At or on? We use at to talk about public holidays and weekends, but when we talk about a particular special day or weekend, we use on. We never go away at the New Year because the traffic is awful. On New Year's Day, the whole family gets together.

In and on are both prepositions of time and place, but they have slightly different definitions. The word in is used to refer to something that is located inside of a specific space. The word on is used to refer to something that is touching the surface of something else.
