The Bell Table by Sebastian Herkner turns our perceptual habits on their head, using the lightweight, fragile material of glass as a base for a metal top that seems to float above it. Hand-blown in the traditional manner using a wooden mould, the transparent tinted glass base asserts a sculptural presence in space, intriguingly contrasting with the solid brass frame on top while also forming a harmonious unit with it, recalling the elegant curved silhouette of a bell.

The Parabel was designed in 1993 by Eero Aarnio, and first shown at the International Furniture Fair in Cologne, Germany in January 2002. The table is made of fibreglass and comes in three sizes; small, large and oval. It is only available in white, the color Eero specified to best showcase its sculptural details.

It is a jewel of construction with a very unusual shape. There is nothing left of the little tables that we used to see in the Arabesco, the traditional legs and surfaces have disappeared. Now the structure becomes substance: a plywood layer bends freely in the space, it twists and turns in a way that makes it stiff. Its legs are well defined by brass tip ends or tapered plywood shapes, which secure it to the ground.
The holes visually lighten the wood structure and challenge the structure itself at the same time, while their fluid line prevents the wood from cracking (which could easily start from more or less acute corners: it is the same logic that Munari applied to his knitted Falkland lamp, which is stretched by various rings). The glass surfaces, whose shapes remind us of other worlds, help to structurally consolidate the system, acting as tie-rod, preventing the table from collapsing under any load. Carlo Mollino becomes an honorary engineer.

An everlasting object whose shape perfectly matches its function. It has a stable base with a very limited hindrance; a thin vertical pole with a k**b at the top to hold it and a round little table at an ideal height, where to place objects. In other words Servomuto, light and easy to move, is the worthy heir of the essential stylish and balanced Cicognino by Franco Albini. It belongs to a great group of items, which all originated from the ashtray and umbrella stands explicitly designed by the Castiglioni brothers as furniture pieces for the Splügen Bräu pub/restaurant in Milan in 1961.
Service table. Base in polypropylene and steel rod painted, color black, white or amaranth. Top in white/black, amaranth/ grey, terra-cotta/grey blue plastic laminate.
