pacemakers
absolute containdication for all stress modalities
* NSTE acute coronary $ (once stabilized .can be considered 24_48 hrs after chest pain )
* STEMI within previous 4 days
*LV failure with symptoms at rest
*life threatening arrhythmias
*severe LVOTO
*severe HTN ">220/120"
*recent PE or P. infarction
*active DVT
*active endo/myo/pericarditis
*significant LMA stenosis
*hypokalemia (particularly for dobutamine )
cardiac CT allows coronary calcium scanning along with non invasive assesement of coronary tree ..but no functional information on ischemia /hibernation .. so should be combined with functional test (stress echo .or CMR ) preferred not schintography which also involve radiation
