XoneBee is a core technology startup specialized in offering next generation mobile telecommunication solutions. XoneBee creates a new type of communication network that can be viewed as a local version of the cellular network but using unlicensed short distance wireless communication technologies, like Bluetooth, instead of GSM. This new network can be placed at any confined place with mobile traffic, e.g. shopping malls, university campuses, office buildings, hotels, air ports, stadiums, clubs, etc.

XoneBee’s pilot product enables free local area mobile phone calls that neither go through the operator’s networks nor require an internet connection. XoneBee’s new network forms an innovative platform for an unlimited number of future applications beyond voice calls, e.g. indoor tracking & positioning, proximity marketing, integration with social media and more.
