In case no one told you today,
Most Iranians (inside Iran and in the diaspora)

WANT
regime change.

No matter who brought it upon us - the imperial
sanctions or the IR corrupted system. BOTH.

Wanting the regime gone # wanting US invasion
Wanting the regime gone # wanting monarchy back
Wanting the regime gone # being CiA/Mossad
puppets

We WANT:
Workers to get paid living wages Kurds, Baluch, Lors, Arabs, Turks and Afghans to
be treated as equals, not second-class citizens Political prisoners released Executions to STOPThe Gender apartheid to end Clean water and air (not environmental collapse
from mismanagement) Freedom of speech, press, assembly The right to organize without being shot

Reforms didn't work. We have been trying that
over n over ... since decades.

They were never going to work.
You can't reform a system built on oppression.

Respect our right for self-determination

🔥 My last and most important post of 2025 🔥

Mutual aid isn't abstract. It's Rania.

I came to Cairo three months ago, and

That's where I met Rania.
A mother of five who had to leave her two-year-old daughter behind to come alone and get cancer treatment.

She arrived Stage III. Delays and lack of care pushed her to Stage IV.

Despite all this. She radiates strength. She is love and light in the most unimaginable circumstances.

We started a fundraiser because the reality is simple:

Nation states have abandoned us. Borders, bureaucracy, and occupation kill faster than disease ever could.

This isn't charity.
This isn't an NGO with overhead.
This is mutual aid.
This is collective care.

If you've been wondering how to help more effectively, this is your moment.

Support financially if you can. Share if you can't.

Wilding AI
Collective Research-Creation Lab
2024–Present | Montréal, Mexico City, Berlin, Amsterdam

What if we refused to let AI be domesticated?

Wilding AI is a nomadic and poly-morphic research-creation lab exploring what happens when artists hijack, break, and misuse machine learning to create spatial sound.

The collective is composed of Pía Baltazar, Beth Coleman, Sahar Homami, Daniela Huerta, Maurice Jones, Tegan Maharaj, Heu Hsu, Alexandre Saunier, Gadi Sassoon, Debashis Sinha, Nao Tokui and Portrait XO. Centering public engagement, the collective has focused on R&D residencies and open-studio presentations at leading international venues, including MUTEK and SAT Montreal, MUTEK Mexico, MONOM Studios for CTM Festival Berlin, and 4DSOUND for FIBER Festival in Amsterdam.

The Journey:

Aug 2024 — MUTEK Forum Lab, Montréal
First public experiment. Sonic agents learning memory, movement, spatial awareness.

Oct 2024 — MUTEK México, Mexico City
Two-day lab asking: if sound were alive, how would it behave?

Jan 2025 — CTM Festival Residency, MONOM Studios, Berlin
Three days integrating text, behavior, spatialization. Testing multiple users spatializing sound simultaneously: a first for MONOM.

Aug 2025 — World Premiere: FERAL FREQUENCIES
SAT Montréal for MUTEK & ArtIA

Fanaa
Audiovisual Performance/Installation ae
2023

Fanaa (فنا) : to die before one dies, is a mystical concept of self-annihilation.

This audiovisual work weaves Persian calligraphy, Sufi philosophy, and generative art into a journey through four stages: Arrival, Dissolution, Absolute Nothingness, Rebirth. Musically, dark minimal techno meets cinematic atmosphere.

Inspired by 12th-century poet Attar's The Conference of the Birds, the piece explores the breaking down of ego and the recognition of unity within the self.

I : XOD
immersive installation
2024, Bright Festival - Leipzig

An invitation to unity began in silence, a no-talk retreat I attended in 2022 where "BIA" (come) emerged from my voice for the first time. A few months later, at Blue Lagoon in Sinai, Rumi's poetry arrived: "The beloved is right here - come, come."

Visual networks of "I" in 40+ languages mirror our shared neural pathways. Sound weaves my voice with electronic music and Sufi mysticism.

I first produced this in 2023. Re-adapted for immersive rooms (in summer 2024) during the ongoing genoc!de. Made more relevant by every divisive propaganda, every act of othering in the West.

This work is a contemplative resistance. An insistence on our interconnection.

I : XOD

TouchDesigner Workshop
Introduction to Touch Designer
Lycée Aline Mayrisch, Luxembourg

In the midst of COVID, I was invited to Multiplica Festival, to present my work fanaa.

The next day came my workshop with high-school students, to the students of Claire Flammang.
They were a class of third-year art students from Lycée Aline Mayrisch.

This was a treat as they were curious and fast learners.
In less than two hours, they were already modifying operators and building patches in TouchDesigner. I still wonder if any of them kept going.

Rotondes later wrote an article about the experience.

In the middle of COVID’s haze, when everything felt paused and brittle, an unexpected invitation pulled me back into motion: performing Fana at Multiplica thanks to Yves Conrardy at Rotondes

It was surreal. My first time in Luxembourg, welcomed by warm, generous Luxembourgish hosts (Yves, Tom and the Rotondes team) who made the strangeness of the moment feel huma again. The technicians at Rotondes were funny and very easy to work with. We performed under distancing rules, masked faces, and careful spacing.

We also did an interview with Maxence Grugier from the Rotondes team about my art practice, which I'm happy to share with you.
