Book Review 🛎️
My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
This book delves into January Andrews moving into her late father’s lake house (not willingly) and writing a book from scratch to submit before September. That is beside her neighbor, Gus, who’s an old frenemy of hers from college.
I went in with low expectations because I’ve heard it’s not people’s favorite and I kind of get why. It is still a good, decent read tho. It discusses love, grief, and life changing events.
Don’t ask me how but weirdly this book felt more like an autumn read 😂 it rained a lot, I felt the days were gloomy PLUS they were each writing books, giving HUGE cozy vibes 🍂🧡
Also I discovered this is Emily Henry’s adult debut novel so she only got better from there, good for her. Would I recommend this? Yes, it’s still a really cute fun read, I just liked her other books more :)

Book Review 🛎️
My rating: ⭐️⭐️.5
The amount of reviews that convinced me to read this book were MASSIVE. I must say they made me have REALLY high expectations for this book which is why I ended up not liking it that much.
For starters, the main character’s name is Misery; with a really unreasonable reason behind it btw 🥸. I couldn’t stand that fact while reading but I overcame it soon enough.
Secondly, the book actually had a plot I guess besides the weird lust going on throughout the whole book. It was intriguing and it made you want to finish the book faster, so points for that.
Considering it’s a fantasy book, I’d say the world building wasn’t really there since they were about werewolves and vampires which I didn’t enjoy, I guess they’re not my cup of tea in fantasy books.
I didn’t really connect with any of the characters really so that made me not enjoy the book more. I will say though the book is a good intro to romantasy, and it’s super beginner-friendly.
I had the book but had to unhaul it because there was a fault 😭. Anyway, I actually read this 2 months ago and forgot to post the review so here it is.
If you’ve read it, comment what you thought of it :)

Book Review 🛎️
My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Clementine inherits her aunt’s apartment after she dies and is still hung up on her death that she doesn’t really want to stay there, but circumstances had her move her stuff there anyway.
What Clementine doesn’t know is that the apartment is magical. At its own time, it’ll decide to jump seven years to the past or future. Clementine refuses to believe it and tries to reenter countless times to return to her time but is distracted by Iwan; someone who was staying at the apartment with permission from her aunt…but seven years ago.
This book was written so good from start to finish. The writing of this author reminds me so much of Abby Jimenez and Emily Henry which are some my favorite authors.
The storyline is so different from the contemporary romances I usually read but I loved it!! The romance is so cute and the character’s are *chef’s kiss*. I just wish we it was a dual pov. I would’ve loved to get to know Iwan’s character more.
Highly recommend this to anyone that reads romance. It’s now available to borrow :)

Series Review 🛎️
The Broken Earth series is honestly an impressive fantasy as it has some of the best world building I’ve seen.
It’s paved is mostly good, and the story fits wel together. I just didn’t prefer the characters that much because I struggled empathizing with them.
The third book is definitely the best and ties it well together and has great character development. I enjoyed the many povs throughout the whole trilogy!!
Overall, it’s 3 stars for me. I would recommend it for fantasy readers as it’s still a good read despite what I didn’t like :)

Book Review 🛎️ (Reread)
My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (again, feels like a 5 but I’m just an extremely harsh rater)
Where do I begin? For starters this book makes you feel things I swear. From sadness to love and even hatred. (I’m talking about a certain character but I won’t say who to not spoil). Johnny and Shannon are one of the cutest couples I’ve ever read about.
This book is a literal roller coaster. So many events happened that I can’t believe I managed to finish it so fast. It leaves you wanting 2 more books I swear, the pages aren’t enough.
Shannon’s character development is crazy. She finally says what she feels for starters and towards the end of the book she ACTUALLY stands up for herself.
This series straight up has drugs btw like you can’t love it in a healthy way you slowly become OBSESSED. Mind you, I wasn’t even this obsessed the first time I read it..I only liked it and thought it was great. Look at where I am now.
