Job Description:
-Administer, maintain, develop, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company's SQL databases.
-Oversee the administration of MS SQL Server databases, including database design, implementation, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
-Develop and manage database replication, log shipping, mirroring, and other high-availability and disaster recovery strategies, including the creation of a Disaster Recovery (DR) site in MS SQL.
Conduct regular database maintenance tasks such as backups, index rebuilds/defragmentation, and database consistency checks.
-Monitor database system performance, fine-tune configurations, and optimize SQL queries to ensure efficient data flow.
-Collaborate with IT teams and management to align database management with the overall technology roadmap and business goals.
-Assist in capacity planning, space management, and data migration projects.
-Ensure compliance with database licensing and security policies.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
-4 year of experience in Database Administration, specifically in Microsoft SQL Server environments.
-Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
-Proficient in SQL Server high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
-Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is a plus.

Purpose
Deploying, configuring, and maintaining enterprise applications across multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix, etc.). The role involves ensuring smooth application rollouts, monitoring performance, resolving incidents, and providing L2 technical support to internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
