Today’s “Zero to Loan” panel hosted by The Egyptian Credit Bureau S.A.E (iscore), brought together industry leaders to tackle the race toward real-time, automated credit decisioning in an evolving regulatory and technological landscape.

Key insights from the discussion:

𝗢𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Banks don’t need to rip out core systems to innovate. Modern AI decisioning engines can augment existing infrastructure through data connections, enabling institutions to automate credit decisions without costly overhauls.

𝗢𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗽𝗵𝘆: Success in attracting the underbanked requires removing friction at every touchpoint, minimizing paperwork, ensuring 24/7 availability, and leveraging data to deliver the right offer at the right time with full transparency.

Today at Cairo ICT 2025, we built a full auto loan policy live in under 15 minutes using The Egyptian Credit Bureau S.A.E (iscore) data on Konan, showing lenders in Egypt what decisioning as a service looks like in action.

This is just a glimpse of how risk teams can move from static policies to smarter, scalable and truly automated decisioning.

From AI at scale to thin-file inclusion and hyper-personalized lending, today’s panels showed what real transformation in Egypt’s financial sector looks like.
