Designing and building a sturdy 10mx7m stage for a client involved designing 3mx1m stage pieces that would be assembled at the venue to form the bigger stage. We started by analyzing the loads that the stage will carry and determining the type and size of wood we will be using. We then drew floor plans for the stage pieces, calculated the quantities we will be needed, prepared a BOQ and a quotation for the client and proceeded with the building phase.
