With a vision to propel Egypt's Automotive and Robotics industry forward, Dr. Mohamed Abdelaziz laid the foundation for the Autotronics Research Lab (ARL) in 2014.

Since its inception, the lab has expanded its reach across various domains within Robotics and Automotive technology. Presently, our team leaders for 2024 spearhead ARL's projects and competitions.

As an introduction of our project and competitions,

Formula AI
Since 2020, our team has designed and deployed advanced Autonomous Vehicles' systems specifically tailored to compete in Formula-AI UK competition.

Shell AI
Since 2022, we have been developing an automated driving system that can navigate cities and other urban environments safely and efficiently.

F1TENTH
Since 2023, we have been developing a dynamic autonomous racing solution and deploying it on a tenth-scale racing car to participate in upcoming F1TENTH competitions.

ASU ROAR (Remotely Operated and Autonomous Rover)
Since 2023, developing an autonomous ROVER capable of navigating through challenging landscapes is our mission.

Deep learning team
Our team has been initiated in 2024 to advance in various challenging and exciting problems related to artificial intelligence field, such as analyzing signals (EEG and EMG), processing medical images, working with large language models (LLMs).

SADEN (Swarm of Autonomous Drones for Exploration & Navigation)
We aim to develop a swarm of autonomous drones for environment exploration and navigation using two drones.

CARLOS (civil assistance robot for layout solutions)
Is a construction technology project. Their primary product tackles the challenge of field layout and replaces slow, error-prone, manual layout with an autonomous robot.

We are looking for an intern who will be working on the design, implementation and integration of electric circuits required for the project, including interface, power conditioning, signal conditioning and protection circuits.

Internship Requirements
• Electrical, Energy or Mechatronics students who are in last 2 years are welcome to apply.

• Good understanding of Power Electronics and Electrical Machines.

• Good understanding of protection methods for electric circuits.
• Familiarity with embedded systems, C programming skills are preferred.

• Familiarity with PCB design and fabrication.

• Basic knowledge of wiring and grounding specifications.

• Basic knowledge of autonomous systems.

Job Description:
- Maintaining procurement records such as items purchased, costs, delivery time, product quality, supplier performance, and inventories

- Compares prices among various vendors in order to make sound purchasing decisions

- Works within a given budget to purchase goods and services for an organization

- Ensures that products are delivered in a timely manner and that the quality of the goods received is satisfactory

- Checks invoice for accuracy and authorize the accounts payable department to issue payment

- Processing with receipts/ delivery notes and invoices for payment.

- Review and process all the Purchase orders

- Build and maintain the suppliers’ database
