A twig is a branch of a tree, every design aspect, for us is a twig; to achieve a perfect biophilic design, a number of twigs (design aspects) should be achieved. Our goal:
Is to afford Architecture and designs that enhance the humans’ life and general well being, physically and mentally through our different twigs (design aspects).

Everybody needs some time... on their own, in a place that makes you feel isolated with the things you only love the most.
The sixth Twig is designing a place of refuge anywhere you want, it may be your home, office or libraries...

This Twig improves concentration, attention and perception of safety.

TWIGS team has won the First Place Award for the Interactive Sustainable CDC project, in "Reconnecting with nature" architecture competition held in the British University in Egypt.

The Interactive Sustainable Child Daycare Center ISCDC is a two year research project, funded by the YIRG program.The principal investigators of the ISCDC project are professor Laila Khodeir and professor Gehan Nagy.

While our brain knows that biomorphic forms and patterns are not living things, we may describe them as symbolic representations of life (Vessel, 2012).
Twig no. 3 of Biophilic design is Biomorphic forms and Patterns, it has a great effect on human performance.
