Other functions:
Angelsound can record the heartbeat of mothers during pregnancy & replay the recorded sound for the baby after birth. This can help the baby to cease crying & adapt to the change of environment. Baby’s cry frequently after birth because they cannot hear their mother’s heartbeat & also because they fail to adapt to the new world. You can also record the heartbeat of your fetus and store on your computer to hear it later on or to email it to your doctor, if you cannot make it to the clinic for further follow up on the progress of your fetus by your physician. Applicable for:
All pregnant women with a minimum of 16th weeks of pregnancy. Tips:
1.Fetal home monitoring is required for all women with a past history of multiple abortions or misbirths.
2.It is also required by women who are classified as ‘High Risk Pregnancy’ such as:
•Diabetes with pregnancy.
•Hypertension with pregnancy.
•Blood diseases with pregnancy.
3.The use of angelsounds enables you to ensure a safe growing environment for you and your fetus.
4.Self monitoring is vital in the following cases:
a)Accidental falls or strikes. b)Long-term working hours & fixed body positions. c)After catching a disease or taking medications. Precautions:
•Normal heartbeat ranges from 120 – 160 beats/minute.
•In case the heartbeat is beyond this range, you are required to visit your physician.
•In case of failure to listen to the fetal heartbeat but fetal movements are detected, rest assure and retry again.
•In case of weak fetal heartbeats, you are required to visit your physician immediately

The pregnant women who need monitoring most are:
1.Pregnant mothers less than 18yrs as they will be more vulnerable to dystocia.
2.Pregnant mothers above 30yrs as they are at higher risk to complications with pregnancy; such as hypertension or diabetes with pregnancy.
3.Mothers with a past history of multiple abortions or premature delivery.
4.With recurrent late pregnancy bleeding, which could be due the abnormal position of the placenta (e.g. placenta previa )
5.Early detection of “cord around the neck”.
6.Abnormal fetal position.
7.High risk pregnancies.
