Successful Slipform Construction of Triangular Minarets in Benghazi 🇱🇾🏗️

We are proud to announce the successful completion of the Slipform operations for the El-Raheem Mosque minarets at the Libya Mall Landmark project.

Executing a 35m height with a triangular cross-section required rigorous hydraulic control and continuous monitoring to ensure structural accuracy and vertical alignment. ⚙️

Scope: Design, provide and operation of Slipform system.

Geometry: 30cm thick walls in a precise triangular shape. 📏

Duration: 12 days of non-stop continuous pouring per minaret. ⏱️

Client: Elsaeed for Contracting and Real Estate.

Proud to support Fidak Roads & Bridges in the Rehabilitation of Bridges Project in Asir Province (Abha – Aqabat Sha‘ar Road), delivered under the supervision of the Saudi Ministry of Transport (MOT) 🇸🇦

For this project, AICS along side Acrow Saudia provided the ACROW Suspended Scaffolding System for steel and concrete girders, enabling critical bearing replacement works across seven (7) bridges. The system was installed at an average height of 70 meters above ground level, meeting the demands of complex, high-risk projects.

With over 100 suspended scaffolding sets and more than 1,500 linear meters installed beneath the bridges, the solution ensured safe access, stability, and efficient ex*****on throughout the rehabilitation works.

All activities were carried out in full compliance with HSE and quality standards, supported by a highly trained, certified workforce specialized in working at heights—because safety is never optional, it’s essential 🦺✔️

Sarafiya Bridge over the Tigris River | Iraq 🇮🇶

We are proud to have contributed to the Sarafiya Bridge project over the Tigris River in Iraq, a major steel bridge structure comprising multiple steel girders, each approximately 104 meters in length and weighing around 1,000 tons.

Our scope of work included the design and ex*****on of a custom jacking system to lift and precisely position each steel girder from the temporary support system onto the permanent piers and abutments.

The operation was carried out in two critical stages:
• Stage 1 – Controlled lifting of the steel girder from the temporary supports.
• Stage 2 – Precision lowering and final
settlement of the girder onto the bridge bearings.

The final lowering operation involved a vertical movement of approximately 1.10 m and required extremely tight tolerances to avoid bearing overstress, differential settlement, or unintended load concentrations.

All spans were successfully seated on their bearings with full alignment and structural safety.
