How to build a healthy sustainable relationship with food?
This is a very hard question. Many of us link memories and feelings to food and sometimes we just eat to feel better. This is because when our brain goes through stressful situations, it sees that one of the ways out is through increasing the serotonin level (happiness hormone) that it felt before when you ate that waffle filled with chocolate.
One of the best ways to stop that is through linking happiness to different activities other than food for example: going to the gym or for a walk, listening to your favorite song, reading your favorite book … etc.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying not to enjoy food cause who doesn’t?! But I’m just talking to those who are addicted to food and addiction is not good for your health. 🤍🤍

Start understanding your body cues,
1) get a nice notebook 📓 😊
2) start recording everything thing you eat... Food, Time and feeling 🥑
For example:
I ate 1 chocolate 🍫 at 10 pm cause i was studying and stressed so i needed to eat it to feel better.
• When you start recording your feelings during each meal, that will help you really know when you're really hungry and when it's just the cravings...

1) احصل على دفتر ملاحظات جميل 📓 😊
2) ابدأ بتسجيل كل شيء تأكله ... الطعام والوقت والشعور 🥑
فمثلا:
أكلت 1 شوكولاتة 🍫 في الساعة 10 مساءً لأنني كنت أدرس واشعر بالقليل من التوتر لذلك كنت بحاجة لتناولها لأشعر بتحسن.
• عندما تبدأ في تسجيل مشاعرك أثناء كل وجبة ، سيساعدك ذلك في معرفة متى تكون جائعًا حقًا ومتى يكون الاكل ناتج عن مشاعر الملل او التوتر ...
