Our Story

UTW initiative was founded in 2010 by Dr. Nevine Abdelkhalek as an initiative and evolved to be the biggest and most sustainable education development program in Egypt.

University To Work (UTW) program aims to bridge the gap between the academic education and the market needs in the field of engineering by providing group of selected students with technical skills that will help them to acquire the skills required by market needs and produce world class skilled students among Egyptian universities.

The whole initiative is held under the umbrella of community participation so that Engineering Consultants Group (ECG), The Egyptian Corporate Responsibility Center (ECRC), Rotary Clubs in Egypt, and students' bodies in universities agreed to implement the University to Work initiative.

The participating universities following the pilot year are as following: Cairo University, Ain Shams University, Banha University and Helwan University and others.
