Creativity was everywhere during Art Week at Uppingham Cairo. From colourful handprint creations and Islamic tile printing to exploring the treasures of Egypt’s world-class museums, pupils immersed themselves in a week of imagination, discovery and artistic expression.

Following the Board of Governors meeting, our Senior School pupils joined members of the Uppingham Cairo Board for lunch and conversation.

As pupils prepare for the next phase of their education and the start of their GCSE journey, these discussions help them better understand their responsibilities, ambitions and future opportunities.

Stepping beyond the classroom and into the heart of Egypt’s history, our First Form pupils enjoyed an inspiring day at the Grand Egyptian Museum. Surrounded by some of the world’s most remarkable ancient artefacts, they explored, researched and sketched objects firsthand, bringing their learning to life while deepening their appreciation of Egypt’s rich artistic and cultural heritage.

The pool was buzzing with excitement as Uppingham Cairo proudly hosted the BSME Cairo West Swimming Gala for the first time.

Swimmers across the U11, U13 and U15 age groups delivered impressive performances, showing resilience, focus and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the competition.

Congratulations to all the winners, and well done to every swimmer who took part and represented their schools with pride.

We were proud to host the BSME U11 Football Tournament at Uppingham Cairo, welcoming El Alsson School, Modern English School Cairo, Repton and King’s School, The Crown for a day of competitive football, teamwork and sportsmanship.

The tournament showcased an excellent standard of play and outstanding skill throughout the day.

Today, our U9 and U11 football teams took part in a series of fixtures, against NCBIS showing teamwork, determination and excellent sportsmanship throughout. The matches provided valuable development opportunities and important preparation for our U11 boys ahead of the upcoming BSME West Football Tournament.
