Today 28/03/2023, the Chief Administrator of RAA, H.E. Stephano Wieu De Mialek visited three primary schools within Panrieng Municipality: Nomlau(Freedom) Girls' Primary School, Gumriak orphanage primary school and Dr. John Garang Primary School. He was accompanied by an entourage that consisted of the Administrator of Education, Gender and Social welfare, the Administrator of Information, Economic Adviser, and the Director General of Education.
The purpose of the visit to these schools was to assess the general situation of the schools and the status of the pupils/learners, and to identify the potential challenges facing the teachers and pupils in Panrieng Municipality.
Firstly, H.E . Stephano Wieu De Mialek visited Nomlau Girls' Primary School: Nomlau is the new school constructed by UNICEF and designated by the government of RAA as the only girls' school not only in the Municipality, but also in the entire Ruweng Administrative Area. It runs from primary one to primary six. It was established this year, and was recently officially opened.
During the visit, the Chief Administrator appreciated the head master of Nomlau School for implementing the policy of the government to allocate and designate Nomlau Primary School for female students/pupils. The CA expressed his gratitude to the learners for the great turn up at school.
On touring each class, he discovered that many pupils don't have compatible dressing code, and in response to this plight, he pledged that the government of RAA is planning to procure and supply uniforms for all pupils in all public schools in RAA. He emphasized that after the procurement and supply of uniforms, all pupils shall be expected to dress in full uniforms whenever coming to school.
The Chief Administrator told Nomlau's headmaster that the government will fence the school and GPOC will help in supplying desks and benches. He encouraged the learners to attend lessons regularly and respec

The Chief Administrator of Ruweng Administrative area, H.E. Stephano Wieu De Mialek , paid an official visit to Panrieng ( A ) Primary School.
H.E. Stephano Wieu De Mialek was accompanied by the Administrator of Education, Gender and Social welfare, Administrator of Information, and the Director General of Education.
The aim of the visit was to assess and ascertain the current condition and status of the school, the challenges facing schools and teachers in Ruweng Administrative Area. So the Chief Administrator and his accompanying delegation toured the entire campus of Panrieng (A) Primary School; visiting and interviewing all the eight classes(from primary one to primary eight).
On touring and interviewing the pupils, the prevalent challenges observed were shortage or lack of desks or benches, where almost all the pupils sit on the floor or on stones on the floor; lack of school uniforms for many pupils or children; absence or lack of qualified and dedicated teachers to teach the pupils.
H.E. Stephano Wieu De Mialek ,the CA promised the pupils of his government support for the educational sector. He assured them of purchasing benches, tables, books, etc., and the soon availability of these materials.
In conclusion, the Chief Administrator directed the Municipality Education Director to ensure that teachers are fully committed and dedicated to their profession so as to enable the pupils to have a good education system from Lower classes to Upper classes. In addition, the CA said all staff should be aware of their responsibility to provide better education to the learners. He stressed and assured them of his unwavering support, and pledged to be routinely or occasionally visiting the schools to check or see the progress of the school, and underscored that the unequivocal mandate of the Government of RAA is to deliver quality education to each Child across the Ruweng Administrative area.

South Sudan Police Service Win Big At the Eastern Africa Police Chiefs Cooperation Competition (EAPCC) in Kigali, Rwanda
South Sudan National Police Service has won big in the recently concluded East African Police Chiefs Competition held in the Rwandan capital, Kigali. South Sudan was among the 11 countries that contested in the competition along with its counterparts including the host Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, Ethiopia, Tanzania and others.
South Sudan won seven (7) medals in boxing and its details are as follows; Two silver medals won by Di Matias and Canadian Christopher. The five bronze medals were won by Mel Dienqo Di Matayas, Akomo Galaba, Alamin, and Nesuri Otem all received a bronze medal. As for Taekwondo activism, the player / Acute Wal-Kawal has won the bronze medal.
The Eastern Africa Police Chiefs Cooperation Organization (EAPCCO) is a regional police body whose membership consists of Chiefs of Police of the 14 countries. It was established in 1998 with the aim of harmonizing, strengthening police co-operation and joint strategies, sharing of crime related information and harmonization of laws in order to enhance the capacity of Law Enforcement Agencies to combat transnational organized crime.
